IE won't show source code

When I try to view the source code of any site on the web
nothing happens. I uploaded a site that I made and I can
view the source, if I preview it in dreamweaver mx, but I
cannot see it at the actual URL (or any other site's
source code). I tried updating to IE 6.1, but it didn't
help. Someone said I probably have a problem in my
registry, but I do not know what to do about it. I am
studying web design and I really need to be able to view
the source of various sites.

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.
