I installed ada-ware's pop-up blocker a few weeks ago, and
right after that my IE went crazy. I uinstalled ada-ware
but IE still will not "close" either from the File menu or
by attempting to close the window. Also, there are random
irregularaties, like the "tab" or "delete" key functions
do not work on any websites being viewed through my
Internet Explorer. Can I uninstall my current IE 6.0 and
reinstall it? [WIndowns Media Player also stopped working
after uninstalling ada-ware].

Any suggestions?

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

and:

SpyBot-S&D

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
