Sometimes when I have a browser window open, I am not able
to close it as it is using up 100% of the CPU. I have to
go into task manager and kill the IEXPLORER.EXE process
(Processes Tab) or end the specified browser window
(Applications Tab), which inturn kills all the other IE
windows.

My System is Windows 2000 Server.

Thanks,

Jignesh.

I have already cleaned off the spyware on my machine using
SpyBot S&D, but I am still having this same problem. I'm
using NT4.0 Workstation on this computer.

Thanks,

George

Hijack This did get it back working. SpyBot S&D didn't
catch everything even though I updated the definitions
before scanning.

You are posting another but similar query in the same thread - post.

If SpyBot S&D yielded nothing, run "Hijack This" from this link:

That's why Hijack This exists, as a lost-ditch Spyware scanner.
SpyBot and Ad-aware do not catch all, in your situation, you might
want to run it several "passes" -
Expert analysis of scan logs and startup lists can be done here:
