IE starts the installation of microsoft money

everytime i try to start internet explorer, microsoft
money 2002 setup runs itself. it first loads the mocrosoft
installer, then tries to install Ms Money 2002, it stops
where it asks for the required CD. sometimes 2 or 3
installer programs run at the same time (which eventualy
ends with only 1).
first i thought it could be a virus or something like
that but i have norton antivirus corporate eddition, and
it doesnt find anything although it s all updated. and i
dont see any Headlines that could help me out.
any information would be very apreciated.

I'm beginning to highly suspect there is something not
'kosher' with the recent updates coming from Microsoft. I
am having so many of the same problems I am reading about
on this discussion board. What to do, what to do....

Are you running MS Money? What happens if you stick in the CD and let it
run?

hi,
actually ms money is already installed on the computer,
and it s never been used. i dont even know why im keeping
it. unfortunately i dont have the cd. i might have gotten
rid of it or the software might have come with the
computer. i installed msn browser for the mean time and i
dont have the pop up situation, for now.

Try uninstalling MS Money from control panel and see if it helps...
