IE starts minimized

Hi,

I know there is something real simple to this, but I can't remember what it
is. When I click on a link, the window starts minimized, and I have to
click maximize on the taskbar to open the window. Please help me fix this.

Open such a link.
Don't use the maximize button.
Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
Close all other IE windows.
Close the stretched window.
