IE^ shuts down

IE6 keeps shutting down. The following is info I have
gotten each time.

C:\DOCUME~1\MICHAE~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER###.tmp.dir00
\appcompat.txt

(### is a 3 digit number that changes each time)
