Hi there,
When I browse the Net via IE and I establish a Shortcut onto
my Desktop, it'll then start up via...Netscape (if clicked upon),
instead of IE (of course)!
So where do I have to fix this, so that such Shortcut will activate
from now on automatically my IE and no longer...Netscape??
I already checked both of my File Types "HTM" and "HTML"
(under Folder Options), but both are correctly assigned to IE...
So thanks very much in advance for your valid feedback(s).

Tools | Internet Options | Programs
Check the box telling IE to check. Then close and re-open IE.

Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs and enable the option:
"Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser"
Close IE and open again. Click YES if you are prompted to set it as default
browser.

(or)

Download the .reg fix. Set Internet Explorer as default browser: (XP)
http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/reg/IE_Default_Browser.reg
* Use this only if IE is installed in its default location [C:\Program
Files\Internet Explorer] *
