IE search & search companion

I have removed spyware from my system but now I am not able to
use any search engine but MSN
and I can't customize the search as before - it just takes me to MSN search
page.

run the repair IE tool via add/remove programs for IE6.
Then you need to ensure that en-us is installed and TOP of the list in the
languages section of IE>tools>I options>languages, if it is not there add
it.
