Joe

Hello, new to group so if this has been previously addressed I apologize

On web pages with alot of text I get some of the text overlapping other
text, some to the point where it is unreadable. There are also Diagonal
lines at seemingly random points on the page ( usually at the end of a line
of text.). This is annoying as pages with that much text are usually very
informative. This condition is true of plain text and text in links. I
would
appreciate any help that can be offered. I am running Win98SE with IE
6.0.2800
TIA Joe

Joe,

I have seen problems that seemed to affect only IE but were actually caused
by video drivers or similar. It may help to know how this problem started,
for example did you install anything around that time or delete anything? I
suspect you'll get a lot of sympathy but finding the actual answer may be
very difficult.

You can check any "Accessibility" options to make sure there's nothing been
accidentally set there that shouldn't be, but to be honest this does sound
more like something is "Broken".

Thanx Charlie but its been doing it for so long I really cant remember. Its
probably something real simple though
