I'm running XP Pro and ZoneAlarm Pro. Somehow, I think some website
installed something on my computer that makes ads pop-up while I'm browsing
the web. I noticed new programs in the program control listing in ZoneAlarm
Pro called "SAH installer" & "SAH Agent". I think SAH stands for "Shop At
Home".

The titles on the ad windows vary. Some of the titles are:

Incredifind --- Microsoft Internet Explorer
Traffic Marketplace - The Internet's Largest Distribution Channel -
Microsoft Internet Explorer
Click Here! - Microsoft Internet Explorer

Even with pop-ups and ads blocked and cookies completely blocked in
ZoneAlarm Pro, the ads just don't stop.

Has anyone else had this happen? Can you offer any help to get rid of them?

Thanks,
Dianne

Thanks,

I would download the free softpackage from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
called Ad Aware. It can look in your computer if you have installed that
irritating software that generates pop ups and strange toolbars on your
browser. If it finds anything bad you can delete it.

I would not advise to use Internet Explorer as your main browser. The
software is too vulnerable to adware and spyware. You could for example try
the Mozilla 1.6 browser. Get it here http://mozilla.org

This is probably due to scripted commands in the webpages.
Turn off ActiveScripting (Tools, Options, Security tab, internet zone,
Custom button) and scroll down to ActiveScripting and set it to Disable.
While you are there, turn off ActiveX controls too.
Note that if you do this, you will neuter operation of many webpages :(
