Hello,
I'm not usually using OE or IE, so I didn't notice this at first.
There was, however, a suspicious lack of available updates (Windows
Update is on autopilot) lately, prompting me to try to run Windows
Update manually. All I ever get is the Internet Connection Wizard
offering me to configure either a modem or LAN connection. The same
happens when I try to launch Outlook Express.
The thing is, I already have a working ADSL connection, set as
standard and available to all user accounts. As a matter of fact,
I'm using it right now. And everything works fine: Xnews, Firefox,
FileZilla, Sylpheed, Gaim, multiplayer Diablo II, and so on. It's
just OE and IE that bring up the inet connection wizard.
I have no idea what's going on here... any ideas? Please?
