IE not responsive after wake up from standby

After I come out of standby and open IE, it will lock up sometimes. I do a
control Alt Delete, end program and it wont end. The report problem pops up,
I send the error report and it still wont close. It has happened a couple
times recently. I downloaded SP2 thinking it might help to problem, but it
still locks up. Any help would be great!
