IE Missing Search Capabilities

My browser was recently hijacked which caused a loss of
any and all use of the browser...After doing a thorough
virus scan (which is up to date) and running Ad-Aware,
CWShredder, I was still unable to access any sites..Ran
IEFix which did just that, fixed IE so that we can once
again access websites.....Except I still have no search
capabilities...When hitting the search button, I
recieve "The page cannot be displayed"....I can access
Google , etc. sites by typing the address...Any and all
help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

Reset the Search Engine. Click the Search button in the toolbar > Customize
AutoSearch Settings > Select a provider from the list.
Click to expand...
Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs > "Reset Web Settings"
