IE message won't go away!

I keep getting the message

When you send information to the Internet, it might be possible for others
to see that information. Do you want to continue?

It then has a checkbox to not show the message in the future, and I check it
every time, yet the message keeps coming up. I've even tried leaving it
unchecked, and it still pops up. It's driving me crazy. Any ideas?
 
That happened to me on my Win 2000 machine. It drove me nuts as well. An
update for windows and a check and getting rid of viruses/etc made it stop.
