IE has performed an illegal operation

Whenever i close IE this window always pops up
"This program has performed an illegal operation and will
be shut down." and the details are as follows:
"IEXPLORE caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff87ede.

I think it has something to do with the driver.

You're right, you may need to update your video drivers.

Start at Control Panel> Display> Settings> Advanced for information on your
video adapter/driver including (possibly) a link to the manufacturer's
website.

Or this might be caused by an adware, spyware, parasite program.

Run CWShredder, Ad-aware and Spybot, referenced on that page.

A legitimate program running in the background may be causing this. Disable
(for diagnostic purposes) programs such as pop-up blockers, security,
anti-virus, third party toolbars, etc. Also... notorious for causing
problems- Gator, Kazaa and some others.
