IE crashes when I run Outlook Express

IE 6.0 works fine until I start Outlook Express. Then I
get a "fatal error, program will close" message.

Diagnostic search said: "IE can't be repaired. File
SCRRUN.DLL is missing."

Any ideas on a fix? THANX.

I found out that the problem was "Lycos.SideSearch," which
had installed itself. It causes the problem above AND
slows down everything the computer does. A lot.

I fixed it by buying PestPatrol V4.2 from pestpatrol.com

Apparently this thing is spreading fast...

Thanks so much for your suggestion. Fortunately the
PestPatrol product cured my problem.
