IE clearing history

How can you completely clear your history out of IE? When
I do a search in the history bar it gives me web pages I
visited months ago. How can I get rid of them coming up
when I do a search for a web page?

OPEN IE, GO TO TOOLS,INTERNET OPTIONS,UNDER TEMP INTERNET
FILES CHOOSE SETTINGS,VIEW FILES,HIGHLIGHT THE 1ST ITEM
IN THE BOX,HIT CTRL A, DELETE KEY, CLICK OK, UNDER
HISTORY CHOOSE CLEAR : )
