IE Clear History Function -- doesn't clear history

Using the Tools/Internet Options/Clear History function
doesn't clear the history. Any hints?

Thanks, Donald <Duck>. However, the SPIDER116 author's
description doesn't indicate that it works with MSIE6.0.

Possibly your History folder is corrupt:
[XP\2K]
Log on as Administrator and delete the desired <username> folder(s).
[example]
"C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\HISTORY"

Note: McAfee AV with ActiveX controls enabled is known to cause History
problems.
