IE cannot close

Hi! I tried closing the IE thru file..close, clicked on
the X, tried alt+F4, tried ctrl+alt+del thru task manager.
Nothing works. Can anyone help me why this is happening
and the best way to solve this problem (apart from
repairing the IE)?

I am also getting this same problem. I am running XP and
it only happens on my log in. HELP!
