I am using IE 5.504. I have designed a website an uploaded
it to my server. When I initially setup the site I had
free hosting which had a banner on the top. I have now
paid for hosting and the server has removed the banner.
Funnily enough when the site is viewed on other PC's there
is no banner on the site, when it is viewed on any PC
connected to my ISP then the banner is visible on the
index page only. I have contacted the ISP thinking that
they cache old paes. They are adamant they dont. I have
cleared the cache on my PC's over and over, but the banner
remains on the first page....the site is
www.xenonmultimedia.netfirms.com....HELP????!!!!

The only thing I can think of is perhaps spyware/adaware ect. deliberately
causing advertisements to appear. Try running adaware (www.lavasoft.de) and
removing any spyware. Also try removing (not just hiding) any toolbars you
have, they might be deliberately placing advertisements on web pages. I just
tried the website on my PC and see no advertisements either.

You might also like to try netscape and see if the same thing occurs on
that, else upgrade to IE 6 if you can, there might be some kind of bug
causing it...although I doubt it.

Still assuming that they may, did you try Ctrl-F5 as a Refresh?

I have cleared the cache on my PC's over and over,

When you cleared your TIF did you also delete all offline content?

Since you are having trouble don't try to do it with the usual
Internet Options dialog; do it with Internet Properties and
shut down any programs which might be interfering with the
operation, including OE (msimn.exe) and IE (iexplore.exe).
Temporarily shut down your security programs too since some
are known to interfere with the operation.

Internet Properties == Run... control inetcpl.cpl
Clear TIF == Alt-F,D,Enter

Good luck
