IE cache directory has data but I never use IE

Why does my IE Temp Internet Cache fill up with data when, in fact, I
never use it? I only use Firefox as my browser.

Mozilla Firefox uses that folder for the cache :P
 
So do Outlook Express, Help and Support and other programs.
