IE Browser display square mark on Page

I use IE Browser 6 in Taiwan.The Browser displays normal font in Traditional
Chinese and English,yet when shift to Simplified Chinese
or Japanese Page,it become square mark.Who can tell me how to slove the
problem?

Is the machine fully up-to-date at Windows Update?
