If I don't like it, can I un-install?
What about creating a restore point before & if I don't like, go back
to that point?

if you don't like IE7, you can simply uninstall and go back to IE6, keep in
mind that IE& is j=majorly more stable than iE6 and is so much more secure
than IE6, that if you don't have any virus software installed, any hacker
could hack this, it is stronlgy recommended that you install IE7, as for the
restore point, go ahead, although sometimes it doesn't fully get rid of its
program, so i suggest instead of a restore point, you unistall it, although
this MAY get rid of all security updates previously installed, so i suggest
you go to Windows Update and do a scan for updates after.

Yes. It will be in the Add/Remove control panel applet, just like any
other program you install.

Shouldn't be necessary.

Can I get my favorites to be in a drop down menu on the top?
I never did like the menu off to the side...

I'm not sure. I haven't spent enough time with IE7 at home (and my
employer hasn't moved to it yet here at work) to know for sure. I know
that there's a setting in the "Options" drop-down to restore the
command bar, maybe the Favorites drop-down is there?

Favorites is an option in the Menu bar. If that's missing, just right-click
on the toolbar and check it.

Yes, using the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs applet.

What about creating a restore point before ....

Always a good idea when installing software, on the off chance that
something might go wrong.

& if I don't like, go back
to that point?

Haven't had to try that for IE7, but it is why the feature exists.

Ok, I'm growing to like it.
Is there a reason that some links open in a new window, while some open
in a new tab?
Where do you set that pref?
