IE 6 won't let me save username/password info on web sites

Even though I have set my IE6 Internet
Options/Content/Personal Information/Autocomplete to
allow the automatic input of all password/username info --
nothing comes up. I am using windows XP Home and I would
like to change this. BTW, Netscape on this box allows me
to do this.
