IE-6 Takes Forever to Close

Does anyone have a file or registry fix for IE-6 running
on XP with this symptom?

When closing a web page and IE-6, the page and IE
disappear, but it takes forever for the program to close
and the system freezes until the task ends. Which can
take 5 - 10 minutes, or longer.

Also what's your take on Spywiper by NoAdware.com ?

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.
