Since I upgraded to version 6, the scroll bar acts
differently. It used to move up or down a screenful when I
clicked in the bar, but now it seems to move the page up
or down proportionally to where in the bar I click. I want
it to act just like hitting the page up or page down keys.
How can I fix this problem? Any help appreciated!

This is due to a bug in critical update 824145.
Work arounds:
Click immediately under the slider.
Drag the slider.
Use the mouse wheel.
Use the Page Down and Page Up keys.

PLEASE, Microsft, PUT IT BACK the way it was. If you
really want to improve the browsing experience (as your
ads claim) you WON'T make us move our hand off the mouse
(for page up and page down) and you WON'T make us slide
the mouse (or drag the mouse) in the narrow scroll bar a
somewhat precise amount to gauge how far a page down is
and you WON'T make us roll the scroll wheel through a 7
page document. If you folks really want your critical
updates accepted by your CUSTOMERS, don't break the
features that gained your customers in the first place.

This is NOT innovating, but regressing.
