IE 6 plugin

Hi!

How do you go about creating plugins for IE? I understand it's all about
creating some ActiveX dll. Does anyone have an example?

goto www.thecodeproject.com and search for explorer bands. You need C++ or
ATL skills.
Or visit msdn and search for Creating Desk Bands for Internet Explorer.
No you don't need activeX only. You can make an Explorer Bar or Toolbar
using any HTML page. The Tips Explorer Bar in Internet Explorer is an
example.
