IE 6 & JavaScript Errors

Is there someone out there that can help me? I have a
Dell Dimension that is not even 1 yr old, runs XP and
IE6, however I receive frequent JavaScript errors. After
talking with numers help desks (supporting the sites I go
to that have the errors) I have discovered a circular
problem. Not only do the JS errors prevent me from doing
what I need to, they are also preventing me from
gathering information (including reinstalling IE6 SP1)
off the MS website.

I'm stuck. Are there any suggestions?
