Frustrated

I just setup SBC YAHOO DSL and also downloaded upgrade
from IE 5.5. Now when I open Internet Explorer and go to
EBAY and click on My Ebay and hit enter I get an IEXPLORE
Invalid Page Faultin module <unknown> at 0000:6a644f42
and when I hit OK it dumps me closes IE and goes pack to
desktop. I have downladed the IE 6 service pak 1 and does
not fix it. I used the repair internet exploere feature
also and it does not fix it. SBC technicina say there is
a definite problem with IE. I then tried to going to
Microsft windows update but I get an error that my
security settings will not allow active x to display page
properly...so I changed security settings to LOW and
message still comes up!!! I am really confused now.

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded. There's also a lot more to do than just those two programs.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.
