After trying to repair IE 6.0 to get it to recognize Flash 7 that just disapeared after an automatic Windows Upgrade, I followed Macromedia's recommendation to "Repair" IE from the ADD/REMOVE function. It said that the REPAIR option would be available AFTER clicking on ADD/REMOVE. It wasn't... so my IE 6 was removed ! I haven't rebooted to apply that removal... I've tried to find a download website to get IE 6 back... but I can't find it - Only SPs are available... - Help
I've got XP

In what operating system?
If I use Add/Remove in Win98, I have 3 options.
1. Add a component.
2. Repair IE
3. Restore a previous Windows configuration.

You must still have an IE of some description. What version is it?
IE6 SP1 is a full version of IE6. It is not a patch or add-on as you
seem to assume.
