IE 6 hangs loading ESPN

I am running IE 6 with all updates on XP. Am frustrated
in that when trying to open ESPN either from address bar
or from link within MSN homepage IE 6 just hangs....gets
to about 3-4 bars on indicator and keeps hourglassing
away. ESPN seems to be the only site with this problem.
also no problem whatsoever using Netscape. Not a huge
problem but frustrating.....hoping someone can help!

If you have Norton security, see what happens if you temporarily disable
it. You can do so from the lower right menu by right-clicking and
selecting disable. I have a similar problem with some website. The ad-blocking
in Norton was preventing their propriatary audio player from launching. I
disabled Norton and it worked. I then reenabled Norton and it kept playing
but I have to do this each and every time I to go that website. I am sure
that it is the ad-blocker that prevents the loading. Other security
systems may require different techniques, and/or your problem may be
something entirely different.
