IE 6 Freezes after page loaded

Hi,

I have Windows 98 and I downloaded and installed IE6.
When Iam connected to the Net and open IE6, it loads the
first webpage ie my home page then just freezes and hangs
until I Ctrl + Alt + Del and kill it. I have uninstalled
it according tot he Uninstall IE 6 instructions from
Microsoft so have reverted to IE 5 but I am now getting
the same problem in IE5. IE5 was fine before I upgraded
to IE6. Any suggestions?
