Hi There!

I have recently started to have a strange error
occuring while using IE6 on both a Windows 2000
Professional machine and a Windows XP Home machine. If I
type in an URL from Start---Run, as an example:
http://192.168.255.255 or even using names like
http://www.hotmail.com I receive an error window that says:

"There was a problem sending the command to the
program."

This also occurs if I try to use an HTML page from my
desktop. This has just recently started. I tried removing
Spyware Blaster and Spy Bot Search & Destroy as they had
had recent updates, however this didn't fix the problem.
The problem seems to coincide with a recent update in
Zonealarm Personal (Freeware).

Any help would be appreciated!

(e-mail address removed)

CORRECTION: All Web URLS issued from Start---Run are afffected with the
error below and IE ends up at a blank page without an address in the address
bar.

If I open an HTML or HTM file from the desktop it will open but will
cause that error if there is already a Window open.

I have already taken a peek at the HKCR at the .htm and .html
extensions, but they appear as they normally would.

Thanks again!
