IE 6 background color are not visable on Web pages

Hi
When I attempt to view a Web page that has a background
color or background image, the background is not displayed
and a white background is displayed instead.
Any idea how to change it.
Win xp Home, IE 6 SP1.

Is your color set on white background? Tools, Internet
Options, General Tab, click the "Colors" tab, in the
small pup-up window check "use windows colors", click ok
