IE 6.0

It's been a while since I've seen this one, but graphics
in IE don't display; instead, I get boxes with little
red "x's" and no graphics.

Can't remember the fix for this one, so if you know, I'd
appreciate it.

Running XP Home and system automatically installs MS
critical updates, so it should be fully patched.

Maybe just reinstall IE?
 
From - Tools, Internet Options, and the Advanced TAB, make
sure the settings "Show pictures" under the Multimedia
group is checked. You may also want to make sure there is
NO check on "Show image download placeholders". It may be
just as easy to "Restore Defaults" under the Advanced
Settings.
