Hi all. My Internet Explorer worked very good and nice - all of a sudden the toolbars and file menu and address bar got very tiny, all in one row, no text label, and I couldn't get to put it back the way it was. I've tried to customize it, but I see no way to get it back. I have no idea how this happened in the middle of browsing

Please help me - thanx.

Thank you. But you seem not to understand my problem. Let me try to explain again

Everything works as before. Just all the toolbars (Menu, Address, and icon toolbar) got squeezed into one lane (not divided into 3 seperate rows as before) at the top of the screen. I still can use everything but very hardly

When I go to 'Customize' settings, I have the option of small icons and large icons. The other setting (text label on/off, etc.) has been faded out (ie. I'm not permitted to change anything)

I downloaded the fix program above, but nothing changed

Sounds like a space-saving feature which I did probably unwanted.

On the top of my screen now, I see the following: Icons (but not text labels) for Back, Forward, Stop, Refresh, Home, Search, Favorites and Media. Next is an arrow to explore more options (mail, etc.) - Then a Seperatore, and the File menu (File, Edit, View, Favorites, and another arrow to explore more (Tools, Help). Then another seperator, and the address bar, the the Go icon. Then there is the 3 controls for the window (minimize, restore, close) but very tiny, and black-on-white icons (not a red close button and blue minimize restore like any other window).

Can you send the screenshot to my email id?

OK, I figured already out the problem - it's just an IE "feature"... Ha!

When you press F11, the icons are getting smaller in order to maximize your web page. Pressing F11 again will return it to standard size.

I got this tip from Computer Shopper Magazine, owned by cNet.com. Thank you cNet! (By the way, they have many very useful tips this month, July 2004 !)

Ramesh, thank you for trying to help me, I really appriciate it !
