identical subject named emails

Our company has forever had an ongoing problem with emails. We create the
folders to store the specific emails in the correct places, but when it comes
time to purge the emails to free up space, we run into big problems.
It appears that Outlook will not save a duplicate subject email. This is
very frustrating. Does anyone know how we can save identical subject named
emails without over writing one in Outlook.

You're saving the messages in system folders? Each will need a unique
subject. That's a Windows requirement. Change the subject in the Save As
dialog.
