IDE and HTML auto format

Hi

this is becoming seriously irritating. How do i switch it off? whenever i
design HTML and switch between design and HTML code it formats my HTML. i
have switched it off in options BUT that didnt help

Anything out there?

Join the ranks of the seriously irritated. There is one setting in the
options and that option really does not does nothing useful. The options
available are in Tools/Options/Text Editor/HTML/XML/Format.

I have all auto formatting turned off but that does absolutely nothing that
I can see.

Perhaps in 2005 or whenever the next VS release comes it might be fixed.

Maybe MS will hear all our pleas and provide us with an interim fix for all
the VS problems reported.
