Hello All,

I previously had my PC sharing my broadband connection via an ad-hoc
wireless network.
I have now installed a wireless router( Buffalo G54). I am still using the
USB modem
on my PC for the Internet connection.
I have setup the router dhcp server gateway to that of my PC.
The network is ok, with the router, but the other PC's on my network cannot
access the Internet.
Can anyone help on this. I am running XP.

Thanks, Graham

Graham,

You now have a router, but since your broadband modem is USB, you still have to
attach the computer directly to the modem, and share thru the PC. So you will
have to turn your router into a WAP.

Connect the main PC, and all other PC's, as peers (LAN side) to the router.
Disable DHCP on the router (DHCP will be provided by ICS).
Change the router IP from 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.2 (192.168.0.1 is reserved,
by ICS, for the main PC's network card).

Setup ICS on the main PC.
Set all the client PC's to use DHCP.

Cheers,
Chuck
