Can the default ip pool for the DHCP server in Internet
Connection Sharing be changed? The default is 192.168.0.1-
192.168.0.254. I need to change it to something/anything
else such as 192.168.2.1-192.168.2.254

No you cannot change the ICS DHCP pool. Why do you want to change it?

Nope. ICS uses fixed IPAs. If you must change the IPAs, then
replace ICS with some other app.

Initially I thought that it was conflicting with a VPN
connection to a CISCO PIX. I have 2 laptops which share a
Ricochet wireless connection with ICS to the Internet.
They connect just fine using ICS. My problem is that
after connecting to the Internet they also need to connect
to my Cisco PIX through a VPN connection to run an
application on my LAN on a terminal server. I thought
that the PIX also used 192.168.0.* for its ip range for
VPN's, but I just realized that the PIX uses 192.168.2.*.
I wanted to change the ICS range, but it doesn't look like
that is the problem. However, there could still be a
problem running the CISCO VPN client with ICS. If I just
connect to the internet with 1 laptop and don't enable ICS
on it then I can make the VPN connection just fine. Once
I connect the second laptop to the first with a cross-over
cable and enable ICS on the first laptop then they can
both get to the internet, but once I launch the VPN client
all communication between the laptops and any connectivity
to the internet dies until I kill the VPN. Any ideas?
CISCO support has not been able to solve the problem yet.

You problem is the your VPN is now taking control of your default gateway.
This is a common issue. Using something else for ICS will not work. Nor
will changing any IP addresses.

Which other application? Fixed IPAs is a mess if you have laptops in your
LAN.
