Icons in Link Bar disappear

THe icons that shoudl be paired with the links are
disappearing. THe little Microsfot ie icon is apperaing
instead. I went to properties where there is a button to
choose the icon, but there are no icons to choose from
where it sends me.

How can I get the icons that should be associated with
the link back, and how do I keep them from disapperaing?
