Icon Menace

I tryed StyleXP software on my PC for some days but when I uninstalled it some of my icons such as Run, Internet Explorer and many more icons failed to restore back to their default icons respectively. Is there any method by which I would be able to restore them.

Get the free utility TweakUI from Microsoft. It has a Repair Icons tool.

TweakUI can be downloaded here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

Open tweakUI and select Repair. In the drop down menu, select Rebuild Icons.
