Can anybody help me?

My battery icon in the system tray intermittently refuses to appear after
booting (despite having it checked to always appear in power options
properties). It won't appear even if I uncheck it, and then re-check it.
My hide inactive icons is unchecked so it's not that. One thing I have
noticed is that the order of icons on the tray is always different! I see
many posts with this same problem and the answer is always the same -
"uncheck hide inactive icons" This is not the problem. Does anybody have
the answer to this annoying problem?

Go to the below website and click on "I" then scroll
Click to expand...
down to Icons, you'll find more info than you could
possibly need: Windows XP from A-Z
Afterwards, put the website in your "favorites" for
future access and use.
