Friends:

I leave my thumb drive in the USB port. After rebooting the PC, the "safely
remove hardware" icon and other applications icon (dictionary) disappear, not
sure whether it is due to the installation of XP Power Tool.

However, if remove and insert the thumb drive (wihout rebooting), the green
arrow appears again.

Could someone tell me how I can retain these icon all the times?

Thanks.

Right-Click on the Task Bar
2. Select Properties
3. Under the taskbar tab, click the Customize button
4. Select the program you wish to always show.
5. Under the drop down box, select-'Always Show'
6. Click OK

Sorry. I have tried that before I sent out my first mail. (I never check the
"hide inactive icon" box.)

It doesn't work.

Thanks anyway.
