icon changed

i have added Googgle in my favorites. why is the Googgle icon [G] changed to
IE standard icon "e"? How can I retained Googgle icon and the rest like Yahoo?

Favicons, as they're called, are stored in the Temporary Internet Files,
which are ... errr ... temporary

Yeah its weird though, they seem to dissapear when they want .... sometimes i
clear out temp files and they remain, they are very helpful designer icons
.... xp should have code enabling them to be retained ...
