Is Windows Xp's Internet Connection firewall compatible with Windows and Msn Messenger??

If i activated it would i be able to use ALL of the features windows messenger has eg. whiteboard, voice, file sharing?

cuz i was reading u have to manually configure it or sumthing or has this been fixed now in SP1?
