I'm amazed it was launched from a field like that where there are cars driving near by, you wouldn't want to get hit by that!

Would be so much fun to do something like that, especially if a Kero / LOX engine was used! (or even a environmentally friendly H2O2 engine )

Absolutely fantastic stuff..

All went to plan perfect takeoff and parachute landing..Top Bombing or in this case top rocketing..

Interesting link that! I'm really surprised they got 802.11 wireless to work so well for telemetry. I had to build a rocket avionics system a few years ago, but had to use an onboard datalogger to record data as wireless was so flakey. Just spent the last 15 mins looking for some pics, but I can't find my old project thesis

Just wait till Witricity comes into play properly...No more cables, no more wires, jsut loads more wireless things to configure,,,
