I wish to upgrade to winXP pro: how?

Dear MS

13 months ago I purchased, online, via an ebay authorized reseller, a
laptop: compaq presario 2800T with WinXP (English USA)

I now wish to do 2 things:
1. upgrade to WinXP Pro
2. receive a installation CD containing winXP and possibly SP2 or at
least SP1

I will install by myself, I am familiar.

How can I do it?
Can I do it online? if yes, can you suggest some authorized re-seller
who can provide me both the upgrade license, and the installation
Disc?

Go to your nearest computer store and purchase XP Pro Upgrade. Insert the CD
in your drive and follow on screen prompts. You can't get it online.

?
You can =order= it online from any number of places. You can't
=download= it online.

You would have to buy a Pro upgrade CD at some computer shop. (not
available online except for pirate ones). But - Compaq use very
proprietary hardware which may need specially customised versions of
system components, and it can *not* be guaranteed that this will work.
And I doubt if they are offering their own upgrade version
