Unlike most folks, I actually WANT to start up and log in using my .NET Passport to Windows Messenger automatically. Here's my probelm:
On my PC I have an administrator account and a limited account. In the limited account is where I experience the problem. I log in to my limited account and Windows Messenger loads, however it does not automatically sign me in. I have to do it manually. I've linked my Windows XP account to my .NET account, yet I still can't get Windows Messenger to automatically log me in each time I start Windows. I have Norton AnitiVirus 2003 running, but I have made sure Norton is not monitoring Windows Messenger (I understand that this may be part of the problem). I just can't get Windows Messenger to do what I want it to do - which is log in with my .NET account automatically each time I log in to Windows.
I've gone the rounds trying to find anything in the KB on this issue, but all I find is people wanting to disable or unistall Windows Messenger. I don't want to do that - I want to use the program.
Please advise.
