Download the full IT install - burn to CD - take to friend - install.
Order the SP2 CD - ship to friend - let them install.

And just to add to the good advice you've already received, make sure
your friend's computer is properly prepared before you try to install
SP2. It should be completely free of viruses/malware and have any OEM
patches installed first (if applicable).
